UPP-Supported Dialogue: Advancing Domestic Violence Legislation

Larsa Organization participated in organizing a dialogue session in cooperation with a number of local organizations including the Lotus Association, She Revolution, I am Basri, Ozone Organization, and with the support of Un Ponte Per (UPP), around the legislation of the Domestic Violence Protection Act, and the discussion of the second version of the law. The session was attended by a group of human rights defenders, and governmental and media entities, where the causes of domestic violence in society were discussed, along with raising future recommendations about the campaign against domestic violence and the urgency of passing the law.
