Building Peace Through Youth Engagement – UNSCR 2250

Larsa Organization participated in a three-day training workshop organized by Al-Firdaws Iraqi Association, focusing on UN Security Council Resolution 2250 (Youth, Peace, and Security). The workshop witnessed distinguished participation from security forces, women leaders, and youth.

The workshop served as a rich dialogue platform for exchanging experiences and strengthening cooperation toward building sustainable peace in our community. It included in-depth discussions on key social issues and challenges, and concluded with a conference that produced important recommendations, including launching advocacy campaigns against cyber extortion, supporting efforts to combat drugs, addressing environmental pollution, and strengthening trust between the community and security forces.

Larsa firmly believes that dialogue and cooperation are the foundation of positive change, and remains committed to supporting initiatives that contribute to building a safer and more peaceful future.
