Strengthening Unity: Larsa & USAID Visit the Chaldean Archdiocese in Basra

Larsa Organization, alongside USAID’s Together for Iraq program representative Mr. Yousef Jibran and members of the Mandaean Sabian community, visited the Chaldean Archdiocese in Basra to discuss community engagement and inclusion.

His Excellency Bishop Mar Habib Hermiz praised USAID’s role in supporting Iraq, emphasizing the Church’s mission of service and the importance of unity. He highlighted ongoing challenges, including the marginalization of minority communities, and stressed the need for collective action.

The meeting reaffirmed a shared commitment to peace, inclusion, and collaboration for a stronger Iraq.
