Larsa Joins Basra NGO Roundtable

Larsa proudly took part in a roundtable that the Civil Society Services Center in Basra organized as part of our commitment to enhancing the capabilities of NGOs in Iraq. This event brought together eight local NGOs from Basra, including Larsa, alongside a member of the Basra Provincial Council, the head of the NGOs committee in the Basra Provincial Council, and the head of the NGOs division in the Basra governor’s office. The roundtable focused on addressing issues related to the work of non-governmental organizations in the Basra governorate, facilitating cooperation, and tackling existing challenges.

The #UPP collaborates with Al Mesalla to empower local CSOs in Iraq through the TATWEER project, funded by the European Union. This initiative partners with local NGOs, including the Alnajah Center for Training & Development in Basra and the Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar.
