Larsa Participates in Workshop to Enhance Monitoring and Evaluation Capacities of Civil Society Organizations in Basra
Larsa Organization proudly participated in the specialized workshop titled “Enhancing the Effectiveness of Civil Society Work through Monitoring and Evaluation”, held in Basra and organized by the Civil Society Services Center. This workshop brought together a select group of active local NGOs to strengthen institutional capacities and promote evidence-based approaches in program implementation.
The training focused on modern monitoring and evaluation (M&E) methodologies, equipping participants with practical tools to track performance, measure impact, and ensure their initiatives lead to tangible and sustainable community outcomes. Emphasis was placed on using systematic analysis to inform future planning and improve responsiveness to local needs.
This initiative is part of the TATWEER project, implemented by the Un Ponte Per (UPP) organization in collaboration with Al Mesalla, with funding from the European Union. It is executed in partnership with local NGOs, including Alnajah Center for Training and Development in Basra and Shakoufyan Organization in Anbar, aiming to empower civil society organizations across Iraq.
