Basra Governorate and Civil Society Collaborate on New Service App for Citizens

As part of the ongoing directives from the respected Governor of Basra to enhance services in the province, the Deputy Governor for Service Directorates Affairs, Engineer Hisham Neama Al-Amiri, continued meetings with developers working on the new electronic service application. He noted that the app is nearly complete and will soon cover all of Basra’s service directorates, with availability on mobile devices for public use.

This initiative is the result of cooperation between the Basra Governorate and Larsa Organization, aiming to empower citizens by allowing them to submit service-related feedback and complaints directly. The app represents a major step toward improved public service delivery and greater civic participation.
