President of the Republic of Iraq Meeting

As a representative of the Chaldean Diocese of Basra and the South in the delegation of the Committee for Resolving Tribal Conflicts in Basra. Mr. Bassam Al-Alwachi has been meeting with the President of the Republic, Dr. Fuad Masum at the Peace Palace in Baghdad to discuss the conditions of Basra.

Mr. Al-Alwachi has transferred the situation of Christians in the city and the lack of concern for the ancient churches and the needs of the youth and Christian families, which would push them to emigrate outside Iraq.
